The transparent gap between Database Administrators (DBAs) and Database Developers (DBDs) has existed for years, however there has not been much discussion surrounding their relationship. Embarcadero Technologies recently held an event for customers, partners, press and analysts to debate the chasm developing between DBAs and database developers.
